My Night Time Skincare Ritual

There is a lot going on here, but I don’t use every product all at once, don’t worry! I tend to double cleanse at night, always using the Bioderma Sensibio H20 to remove my makeup and then cleansing properly with the Dr Hauschka Cleansing Milk. I used to use the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser, but recently I finally finished it so I thought I would try Dr Hauschka for a while. Then I use the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner, the Midnight Recovery Concentrate and the Ultra Facial Moisturiser. Once a week or so I skip the last two and use the Kiehl’s Overnight Biological Peel as a very gentle exfoliator.*

When my skin is being a pain in the ass and breaking out, then I use the Balm Balm Tea Tree Face Balm every day and night until it has cleared up. The eye cream I use every night, but I’m nearly at the bottom of the little tub and a) I’m not too sure it is working any more and b) I can’t wait to try something new. I am desperate for some Heaven Bee Venom Eyes. I am not a lip balm fanatic who smears the stuff on all the time, but I do use my Rosebud Perfume Co Brambleberry Rose balm on my lips at night once I’ve finished my whole routine.

*I have decided once I finish my Kiehl’s products I will be replacing them with Dr Hauschka and other alternatives. I have enjoyed using them, but for animal testing-related reasons I have decided not to repurchase from this brand. I adore the Bioderma cleanser as well, but until they are confirmed to not test on animals I will also be replacing that with the Uriage alternative, whether or not it works as excellently.

Well Kiehl’s claims to not test on animals, but they have stores in China which means they are doing animal testing on whatever they sell there, by law. That is just putting your ethics aside in order to make some extra money.
