1. REN No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm
I have been using this religiously every night since I got it and I honestly don’t think I will be using anything but a balm, or perhaps a cleansing oil, for the foreseeable future. Cleansing balm is perfect for dry skin. I bought some face cloths made for newborn babies, so they are very fine and soft, and I use them to remove the balm and my makeup and then rinse. My skin feels very plumped up afterwards, never tight or dry.
2. Balm Balm Rose Geranium Face Balm
I know I have banged on about this product time and again, but it is just something I will always keep in my skincare stash. I use it on and off, when I want to nuke dry patches or give my skin a bit of a break from all the fussing. This is an organic and completely natural balm and feels like a protective treat when I leave it on overnight.
3. Rosebud Perfume Company Brambleberry Rose Lip Balm
This smells delicious, a bit like berries and a bit like roses. When I first bought this from Style36 just after Christmas I thought it was just any old balm in a very pretty tin. But it is really one of the best lip balms I have tried. It keeps lips soft and hydrated for a long time, so there is no need to constantly reapply. It also works wonders on any other dry areas. It is a salve that has been around for over a century, so I think it has proven itself. I put some on every night at bedtime.
4. The Body Shop Born Lippy Lip Balm in Raspberry
I used to use this years ago, and when I got one in my bandwagonbox just the smells brought back so many memories! I find I have to reapply this quite often as the effect is a lot more temporary than the rosebud salve, but it smells really scrumptious. I keep this one on my desk and use it while I am working.
