Honeymania Cream Body Scrub Review

My relationship with the Homeymania range got off to a rocky start, but I’m willing to admit that I was a bit quick to judge on the scent alone. It is one of those scents that has grown on me over time and now I really love it.

Of the two products I bought I think the body butter is amazing because my skin is still moisturised 24 hours later, and if I apply it at night I can still smell the scent of it in the morning. The cream body scrub is probably even thicker and denser than the body butter, and while it is great for very dry skin it falls a bit short as an exfoliator. If you are used to a sugar scrub this is going to feel more like you’re applying a body butter in the shower as it is not very ‘scrubby’. If you prefer much milder body exfoliation then this will be right up your street. You can see below what the texture of the scrub is and how solid it is.

It does however leave your skin very moisturised. That is just a short summary of the pros and cons of the cream scrub. I’m actually quite keen to get a shower gel from the range now because I love the way you can layer the scent of Body Shop products by using the whole range.

I need the scrub now in my life! I have all the other honeymania goodies but not the scrub, and now after reading this review, I neeeeed it πŸ™‚

I have yet to try the Honeymania range. I have heard lots about it but I am hesitant for some reason. I just did a review on the honey and oat scrub mask and it’s kind of similar to this in that it is not very “scrubby” but it works well as a facemask. Honey has so many beneficial properties for skin so I think I should just go and buy these products already haha πŸ™‚

This is the perfect scrub for me, because I am not fond of scrubs that are too abrasive.

The scent of the Honeymania range is now my fave Body Shop scent, with Vineyard Peach a close second!
