All I want for Christmas…The Luxe List

I have had so many spoils lately that it’s quite difficult to think of anything else I really want. In fact I’ve already got the Vitalumiere Aqua as a Christmas gift from a friend *happy dance*. But I definitely want the Clarins Essentials Palette from my family for my birthday this December! The rest are just too pretty not to feature and things I would love to get over time. Now that I know how easy it is to order Yankee Candles from creative candles I will try to order one every few months as a treat.

The counter ladies are scary, they scared me for years! But actually they are really friendly, most of them, and keen to help. 🙂
The vitalumiere aqua was a gift, but I asked and my friendly kindly told me it is R505. Pricey for a foundation! But it is lovely, and a wonderful special occasion gift

I swatched the Clarins Splendours Bronzer last weekend and didn’t buy it because it looks a bit too orange on my skin. Neal bought the Smashbox one for me today and it’s so much better (plus half the price). I think it’s called Sunkissed Matte (the other one called Suntan Matte is for darker skin tones).

The Clarins one looks gorgeous but no use paying all that money if you’re not really going to use it… Well, if I’m not really going to use it.

Naked 3 is at the TOP of my list, I’m waiting for it to be available on Beauty Bay.

Aw that sucks. I wouldn’t waste the money either then. I actually think I will try the Body Shop bronzer because it is so affordable and I keep hearing people compare it to NARS Laguna. Worth a try! Or stick with the Chanel cream bronzer because that is also apparently really not orange.

Where could I get the Naked palettes from? I have recently returned to Cape Town after living in London, so not sure who here stocks Urban Decay products. Thanks!

Hi Arleen, we can’t get them in South Africa. They have to be ordered online from overseas. I’ve tried beautybay and lookfantastic but both of course give you a nasty customs surprise when you collect from the post office. Rather get a UK friend to send to you 🙂
