Justine Treatment Hair Mask (P.S It’s giveaway time!)

Now that I’ve had some time to use the Justine Tissue Oil Treatment Hair Mask for a while, I can reveal that this stuff is a winner in my books. I’m not usually too fussed about what I put on my hair as long as it makes my hair look smooth and feel silky. My hair is quite coarse, and because I don’t blow dry or flat iron it, it can look a little unruly at times.

I’ve been using it every second time I wash my hair because it is just so effective. If you’ve got normal, undamaged or fine hair then stick to once a week, but if your hair reminds you of the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, then twice a week works wonders. The Tissue Oil Treatment Hair Mask claims to “moisturise and condition extremely dense hair leaving it soft, smooth and manageable”. I have dry, damaged hair, and I say it ticks all the boxes. After leaving it on for 5 minutes I find my hair so much easier to brush, less knotty and infinitely softer.

It contains vitamins, silicones and softeners. I have an idea that silicones would just fill in the cracks in your hair shaft or coat the hair making it feel smoother but won’t actually repair your hair in any wayย (I’m not a hair scientist though, so don’t quote me. Ask someone who knows hair). I don’t think I particularly care though, since I get the result I’m after…soft, smooth hair. I find it does require regular use to keep my hair feeling this way, perhaps adding weight to the theory it’s not about hair repair as much as a fabulous quick fix. I suppose using it over a longer period of time, probably beyond one tube full, would give me a better idea.

Now it’s time to win some Me Minutes of your own! I have a mini Justine Tissue Oil hamper to give away including the Tissue Oilย Softening Body Butter, a 60ml Original Tissue Oil, a Tissue Oil Face Cream SPF20. I’m actually a bit jealous of the winner because the face cream has a pump dispenser as well as a good daytime SPF, so it looks awesome. I said I’d throw in a jar of cookies too, but I’m slightly reconsidering the weight of posting a giant Console glass jar. Box of biscuits, anyone?

Just share this post using the Twitter/Facebook buttons below and comment on this post with your name and email address. The winner will be chosen by random draw on Friday 21 February 2014.

*giveaway now closed. Congrats to Sheldene, you win the tissue oil products and chocolate biscuits!*
