One babygrow can feed six children!

This post is especially for the new moms who read my blog, as well as those who have baby showers coming up or are looking for a gift for a niece or nephew…basically if you have a baby in your life, directly or indirectly, then you might be interested in supporting a good cause.

Little Miracle 5

Yesterday I visited Keedo’s factory in celebration of their 21st birthday and was blown away by how important job creation, happy staff and community support was to the brand. I could write a whole post just on how inspiring and warm I found Keedo’s founder, Nelia Annandale Schutte, but I actually wanted to focus on a specific initiative in collaboration with Jo-Ann Strauss, former Miss SA and the ultimate glam mom…I’m not kidding, how anyone with a six month old baby can appear looking fresh and impeccably elegant at 10am I am not entirely sure. But she definitely caused me to suck in my stomach and hide my Crocs-clad feet under my chair!

Little Miracle 3

Keedo and Jo-Ann have teamed up to create Little Miracle zippy grows, baby grows with a full zip for easy midnight nappy changes (have you ever tried to do up poppers on three hours of sleep at 2am with puke in your hair?) which come in pink, blue and a unisex beige. 1,000 zippy grows will be sold and the proceeds of each sale will be able to feed six children. The zippy grows will come in sizes newborn to nine months, with a cute matching bib as well. Basically, if you’re looking for a gift that keeps on giving, this is the one. They will be available from 1st December online from Spree or in Keedo stores.
